The 2nd Tamil Nadu State-Level Chess Tournament<\/strong>, organized by the Winners Chess Academy<\/strong> under the aegis of the RVDCA (Raya-Vellore District Chess Association)<\/strong>, concluded today at the Velammal Bodhi Campus<\/strong> with remarkable participation and exceptional displays of talent from young chess enthusiasts across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event witnessed the gracious presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Smt. V R Subbulaxmi IAS<\/strong>, Collector of Vellore District, Shri S. Dhayalan<\/strong>, District Education Officer, and Smt. P Saraswathy<\/strong>, District Inspector of Physical Education, Vellore District, as chief guests. Their inspiring words motivated the participants and added grandeur to the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tournament was a one-day state-level event<\/strong>, bringing together 512 players<\/strong> from across Tamil Nadu. This included 439 boys<\/strong> competing in four age categories<\/strong> and the open category<\/strong>, along with 73 girls<\/strong> showcasing their prowess in various age groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Velammal Bodhi Campus served as an excellent venue, with its modern facilities providing a conducive environment for competitive play. The organizers ensured smooth management and created a memorable experience for all participants and spectators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Smt. V R Subbulaxmi IAS<\/strong> commended the organizers for promoting chess among youth, emphasizing the game’s role in developing critical thinking and discipline. Shri S. Dhayalan<\/strong> and Smt. P Saraswathy<\/strong> also applauded the participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Winners Chess Academy, known for fostering chess talent in the region, once again proved its commitment to the game by hosting this large-scale event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day ended with a spirit of camaraderie, with participants expressing their gratitude to the organizers for a well-executed tournament. The event highlighted the growing popularity of chess in Tamil Nadu and the potential of young players to excel at higher levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the resounding success of this tournament, the RVDCA and Winners Chess Academy reaffirm their dedication to nurturing chess talent and look forward to hosting many such events in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
