Code of Conduct

Raya Vellore District Chess Association (RVDCA) is committed to maintaining a safe, fair and respectful environment for all players, parents, coaches, arbiters, officials and spectators.

Expected Behaviour

• Treat everyone with dignity, courtesy and respect.
• Follow the Laws of Chess and all tournament regulations.
• Maintain honesty, fairness and sportsmanship at all times.
• Respect the decisions of arbiters and tournament officials.
• Encourage young players in a positive and supportive manner.
• Protect association property and tournament equipment.

Prohibited Behaviour

• Cheating or attempting to gain an unfair advantage.
• Abusive, threatening or offensive language.
• Harassment or discrimination of any individual.
• Damaging tournament property or equipment.
• Disrupting tournaments or official meetings.
• Misuse of the RVDCA Membership ID or association name.

Disciplinary Action

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in warning, suspension, cancellation of membership, or other disciplinary action as decided by the Executive Committee of RVDCA.
